One of the highlights of this walk for me is Caldas de Reis. I always go online before my trip and book one of the special offers in Alcuña Balnearos or Hotel Davila. Even if you don't splash out the €40 or so and decide to stay in the albergue instead, there's a public font just in front of Hotel Davila where you can bath your feet. There's also an amazing restaurant on the right hand side as you enter the town just after the bridge. Can't recall the name but you go down some steps to it and you can't miss it because it's the only one on that side. They do their own cured meats and steaks.
